Dissemination Event of the Findings of The Assessment on Situation of Child Rights in Rwanda with Focus on Rights to Education, Health, and Adequate Development

Pursuant to their mandates of monitoring the respect of child rights and human rights respectively, the Coalition Umwana ku Isonga  and  the National Commission for Human Rights conducted  a joint assessment on the status of child rights  in Rwanda with a focus on education, health and social protection in Rwanda.  This assessment was conducted in line with the “Strengthening accountable governance that protects and delivers children’s rights a project funded by Sida through Save the Children International Rwanda.

The general objective of the event is to disseminate the findings of the assessment on the status of the child rights in Rwanda. 

Outcomes expected are:

-Child protection actors have ownership of the assessment findings for future action in advocacy and accountability purpose.

-The findings of the assessment serve as the additional information on child rights status and baseline to inform future plans for child protection  actors in Rwanda.
